Dr. Med. Paul Cooper is the resident Senior Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at St. Martin de Porres Hospital, Eikwe. He joined the facility on August 1, 1998 as a Medical Officer from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Kumasi. He trained as a Medical Officer and obtained his qualification Medicine and Surgery from Alma-Ata State Medical Institute, Kazakstan. He further trained in Obstetrician and Gynaecologist from the Bayerische Landesärztekammer after completing the requisite supplemental medical education in accordance with the supplemental education ordinance for Bavarian Physicians on October 1, 1993. Where he was conferred the right to bear the medical speciality title of a Obstetrician And Gynaecologist. He has envious skills in Obstetrics and Gynaecological cases such as; Hysterectomy [Abdominal], Vaginal Hysterectomy, Myomectomy, Caesarean Section, Evacuation of Uterus, Ectopic, Dilatation and Curettage, Fertility, Breast Cancer Surgery among others. He is a senior resident specialist responsible for training of young medical officers in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He is currently the MEDICAL DIRECTOR IN-CHARGE of the Hospital and HEAD OF MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATION. He is responsible for the overall budget management and safe healthcare practice of the hospital. Dr. Med. Paul Cooper is a Ghanaian born in New-Tafo Akim, Eastern Region of Ghana. He has good interpersonal relationship and communication with clients. His warm hearted care makes clients and relatives develop a long lasting trust and confidence in his care. Dr. Med. Paul Cooper has assisted many families in fertility, reproductive and child health and has brought joy to many. He consults on; Fertility Clinic every Wednesday at 9am – 2pm. All other Gynaecological Cases every Monday, and Friday at 9am – 2pm.
